With the growing trend of shareable MTV music-inspired videos online it is only natural that Hot Wheels take the next evolutionary step of music-inspired video content. Something’s Awry Productions was chosen to produce an entertaining Hot Wheels music-focused Episodic Video Series for YouTube that was fun, exciting and shareable.
Working with Tongal, we came up with a storyline that was fun and reminiscent of the movie The Yellow Submarine. Combining stop motion animation and psychedelic 2D elements drawn by Actuality Films gave the visuals a suitably ‘trippy’ feel.

Zing Toys wanted a video introducing their new Stikbot Studio set and app. The challenge was to create a fun shareable video that was entertaining but also outlined the features included in the new app. In addition Zing wanted the video to act as a tutorial on how to use the features of the new app.
Working with Tongal we came up with an engaging and humorous storyline involving the park rangers and the T-Rex. The video received over 3 million views in just a few days with several major blogs such as i09 picking up and reviewing the film. After a year, the film has over 17 million views online.
Once Upon a Time hired us to create an informational video for them to share on their website and social media. They wanted something that was informative but not boring to watch.
